Forney LGB 27253 2-4-4

Hello All!

I am new to GSC, and relatively new to model railroading. Though I have been around model railroads my entire life, I just bought my first locomotive at the Amherst Railway Society's Train Show in Massachusetts. When I got my new train home I did research on it's line "S.R. & R.L.". I ended up finding a coach on eBay to go with it. At the moment I am looking for additional coaches that match the line as well as anywhere online besides eBay that I can actually purchase track, power supplies, etc.

I presume the loco you purchased is an LGB product. If so, they are great pullers and of course very reliable.

It is an LGB, yes! My dad always swears by them, so it was my only thought when I bought a train. Since posting this, I've found several websites that sell LGB products and I'm looking through them to find the best prices.

Be patient. Srrl stuff is not plentiful, but does come up for sale on ebay.
The lgb forney is a great loco.

Welcome John. Whilst eBay is a good place for purchases, don't be taken for a ride, if you follow this forum, there's plenty of tales of woe
