all manner of mechanical apparatus...
Paving between the rails continues at a cracking pace but I fear I will run out of pavers, there are 400 of them to the lineal metre of single track. Do I have enough?
Well I tried to work out how many I need, I couldn?t be bothered counting them individually so I weighed them. There are exactly 10 stones in 13gms. I have 4527gms so if I divide 4527 by 13 that will give me the number I have in 10?s ?Now watch this carefully Wilson, its British workmanship in action? that gives me 348 or 3480 stones, divide that by 400, being the number of stones per lineal metre gives me 8.7 metres??Sadly nowhere near enough, there is about 11.6m to sort out?. I?ll have to investigate other surface treatments. There is around 3 metres of track in front of the terrace houses that are not there yet. I mean the site is reserved for a row of terrace houses. Maybe that could be either a dirt road or a tarred road with flange grooves in it?.
And in other news?. Sorry I have to get back to the cobblestones, only another 3480 to lay??
