Family Pizza Layout

Two weeks ago was the last Brisbane Model Train Show to be held at the Brisbane Showgrounds and as my club was exhibiting, I decided to throw together a G scale layout.
Dimension are 1 x 1.2 metres. (40 x 48 in the old money)
I wanted to run Bachmann Davenports and a couple of log cars or a few ore cars

Showing base constuction and scenery formers

Fly screen was used on the rear section and polystyrene onthe front

Plaster rocks in position and kitty litter ballast laid

Ground cover laid and pottery shack positioned. I picked this up from an op shop for $6, bargain!

The exhibition was on the 5-7th Of May. Setup on Friday, then on for young and old.
I added more scenery details on during the weekend, as can be seen in the photos.

Ive been familiar with pizza layouts and small size layouts but im likeing it in G looks good keep the pics coming

Just thought I post a couple of shots showing the set up to shoe horn the layout into the car.
I thought I had measured accurately (ha ha) the width, but I was out by half an inch, this can be seen by the extra holes in the bottom brace. it was only by sheer luck there was clearance between the boards, maybe an inch and a half.
