Hi,

I'm thinking of using an edrig as a base for a tram loco. I wont need the body, and see you can get the chassis as a seperate item. But not sure what to do for a boiler, guessing Roundhouse is an option. Didnt Accucraft do a chassis and boiler together? Failing that is the boiler available as a spare?

I am sure that that a working chassis with boiler will be available soon as it was before... It is just that there are none currently in the country.

And again Track Shack have Edrig's due soon. Put your name down for it now. The price for a complete Edrig from Trackshack is the same as that for an Edrig power unit from GRS ? so order one of these and then offer the bodyshell for sale. Bet you someone wanting to build a DJB coal fired Edrig using the plain chassis will bite your hand off for it if you advertise it in GardenRail (free). This way you will get the cheapest possible deal...
