Seeing things have been a bit quiet in the coal firing section here's a brief video clip I was sent of a newly completed DJB 'Robert'.

Nothing like the real deal. Legend has it that giants shovel coal into the firebox while everyone is asleep. But the town's people are having none of it.
 
Nice action. Also took a look at poster's other videos (well some of them) - what a diverse range of motive power!
 
Its a nice loco but I would personally find the shovel difficult to use with it being bent like it is. I suppose I am used to a straight shovel rod so I know where it is going into the fire box! Interesting loco and you don't often see one with the hackworth valve gear.

And there´s a gas-fired Robert supposed to be coming too .... ???
 
I'm not sure about the colour but otherwise a very attractive loco, I hope they do make the gas fired version which was announced some time ag.
