Anyone own, or have any experience with DJB's coal fired Robert engine?
How difficult to build, and how does it run?
Thanks for any info!

Well, I haven't got one, but I do have Paul's (DJB) Ragleth. And I can say that a) it's brilliant, and b) it's brilliant. Go for it!

Hello Jim,
Welcome to the forum. I know someone who has just finished, or is just about to finish, a 'Robert', and I've invited him to join the forum (if he's not already a member) to share his experience with us. I converted a gas fired Accucraft 'Edrig' using a DJB kit and I've been very pleased with the results. Clear instructions, good quality components, and a sound basis for an excellent coal fired loco. The Robert is also very popular and being based on Roundhouse running gear I can't imagine you would go wrong with it.
