Hello All
Hopefully here are three pics showing a couple of projects finished over thepast few months.
The depot is of my design based on numerous pics,it is scribed wood on a marine ply shell, pics don't show the shingled roof well though.I enjoyed making this in particular the clock tower and the window/door frames.Apologies for the 'cowboy ' sign for those of a sensitive nature!
The railbus is based on the one at Silverton. It is a sandwich construction with inner and outer sides bonded to a clear acrylic shell, instant glazing this way!The rear axle is powered by a modified Bachmann Indie front truck with and ancient Tri-ang XT60 motor and gear grafted on,it works surprise surprise!!The front truck is modified from a Bachmann 20ft freight truck with pick-ups added.
If anyone would like any more details of the construction of these two models please ask.
Regards from East Anglia
David
