I'm looking at a Delton boxcar on Ebay. I have no experience with Delton. How do they compare in size with USA Trains rolling stock? Any other thoughts would be welcomed.

Hi Dan,

I am pretty sure the Delton range was listed as 1:24 by Aristo. Presumably it has always been that as I guess Aristo used the same molds.

Yes, as has been stated already in the thread. they are 1:24. They follow the LGB old american wood sided style rolling stock sizes pretty much bang on as is also the case for the USAT 'American' series.
The Delton cars are nicely moulded and with enough difference in details to make the cars a little more interesting and near prototypical depending on what lines etc you have running (that is if rivet counting might be the issue ;-) )

Thanks everyone. 1:24 is close enough to my Bachmann and USA, which is 1:24 as mentioned, rolling stock
