I currently am converting a Regner Max to Gas,I need to cut the copper tubing from the tank to the burner but not sure if i can treat it like any other plumbing job of larger scale such as heating in a house.Should i cut with a hacksaw or a cutoff wheel/Tool,Should i cut off only whats needed or allow extra.Any info would be helpful.

Rob, I can only semi-visualise what you are doing/attempting. I'm assuming a small gauge pipe (1/8"???). I would say it matters not greatly how you cut it, a small cut-off wheel in a Dremel would do it, or a junior type hacksaw, but just make very sure you clean the swarf out of it before you connect it. Where you cut it, only you can be sure?
