Well impressed - super plasticard scratchbuilding job :)

Two questions - what do use use to cut the thick card and which glue do you use?

This is going to an esquisit model when finished. But be warned from past expierience watch the roof profile its easy to get it wrong . Also which drawings are you using some drawing not to accurate. (Old proverb if it looks right it is right) I have built many scratchbuilt diesels in G scale and oo/4mm mainly pilot scheme locos and I have fallen in many holes along the way. One last point diesels are far more harder to build than steam locos they are far more complicated so Keep up the good work:clap:

That really looks the part, I admire your modelling skills.
I see you've left those compound curves where the roof meets the headcode box till last. Derby works found that a challenge too. I recall visiting Derby works open days when they were in production, there was often a demonstration of the resin and fibreglass layup techniques used.

The roof filter grilles could be simulated by . That seems to work in all scales.
The side grilles maybe could be represented by .

Try this place for different scales of mesh (and other useful bits and bobs):

I've used them frequently - their catalogue is just a 'wonderous book of dreams' for any model maker!!
