DMU makes easy work of the snowy conditions two weeks ago.
This is powered by a single 12v re-chargable battery including the sound.
and driven with a hand held RCU.
This is Gauge 3 running on 2 1/2" (64mm track)

Very nice!

It's amazing how in the video, your railway now looks like a rural branch line, with only one running road and the DMU.

If I didn't know better, I would never have guessed it is a predominately double tracked main line layout....

Hi Gizzy
Thanks for comments. Actually Thurnby is 3 track....
I had a cab ride on your video. It sounded like your driver was playing a guitar whist driving.
Do the railway company appreciate that this could be dangerous (and painful on passenger ear drums?)

My apologies; I couldn't see the third track under the snow!

My cab ride on Youtube does have a 'rockin' sound track added, but the original recording I have here has the loco sound instead. Sorry if I upset your eardrums....

Great model of the BRC&W unit. (104?) Nice set out, but the US style water crane does not match. British water cranes had their tanks away from the crane. Usually on top of buildings.

Where did you get the water crane from?
