Having spent another day at the hospital it gave me time to look around the www.

I found this link which has some interesting pictures of Brill trams, best of all I found if I select download and on the download page select preview it down loads a low resolution copy of the picture.

All of those images appear to originate from the Electric Railway Journal. If you really want to lose yourself looking at quite a number of online copies of that publication, have a look at......


I've recently spent umpteen hours looking through the editions on that site trying to reserarch something and there is a lot of interesting stuff on there!

The Electric City Trolley Museum in Scranton, PA, has a bunch of trolleys, including some that run. They have a most enjoyable trip across the valley to the baseball field. I took photos of the trucks of the trolley I was riding on, as the East Broad Top M-1 gas-electric doodlebug has Brill-supplied trucks and I was trying to make a model of it. Here's one photo.
