Brawa G4/5

I recon your right Neil - it is out of production and Brawa have given up on G scale.
Lovely loco though.

How easy is it to get parts for these loco's ??

I had to source some replacement handrail knobs (yes, they're separate fittings) and a broken plastic feed pipe. I had some language difficulties but eventually by sending Brawa a photo of the required parts, they supplied replacements gratis and by return. That was a few years ago now though.

With only an hour and a half to go, it'll be interested to see what this sells for. It's got a way to go to even reach half of its' new price - and whatever the superficial damage, it is a very nice locomotive when all is said and done.

I wonder if MMTS is looking in

Roy Cofton Mann ran his here and it coped quite well even though it was R1 in the shed and on an incline.

They are a bit fragile and bits do fall off

Obviously I stand corrected about the R1s.
The Brawa managed them better than my Caledonia did on Phil's layout. &:

Not me either! :impatient: Although it was me having come second. I fully agree with what you guys wrote above (missing bits, chip problems) so really didn't want to go above 600 just in case, even if I could have done a personal pickup as the guy's from the Midlands.
Well, next time!
Who came first then??!
