i had not enough work today. that's, what i did instead:

kiste-port.JPG

for printing i choosed the easyest option. i just copied the pic into a word document. there i sized it down, till it looked right for my figures.
if anybody wants to use it, just open the link below and print it.
(and resize the pics for your scale)

(opening might take some time. it is a file of over 2meg)

minimans,
hey! you are quicker, than i am.
which one is that? from the pic i posted, or from the .doc in the link?
meanwhile i licked blood. here my second try:

i learned from the first link. that took up more than 2 mega space.
now i just put the first row of boxes into the .doc.
anybody interested can copy that row and fill the page with it before printing.

Very good Korm - neatly done - I use Word too. If I have any space on a sheet when printing signs or lettering I make the odd box or two for later use. Wrapping them round a piece of Balsa helps in our quite humid climate (80% plus in summer!). Generally use a Pritt Stick for glueing but superglue might be given a chance.

Mick, precious balsa?

i was thinking, what to use, to weight them down a bit.

next balsa i can get would be in Rio or Buenos Aires.
i think, i'll cut pine to fit the boxes.

minimans, try the small ones, they'll take more time and funny words to get them straight.

Thanks for the links guys, I'll be making mine up later.

I like the Balsa idea, but will coat it in knotting first, keeps it weather proof and the glue takes better

Sorry Korm

knotting is a sealer, usually with shellac in it, applied to mostly resinous woods and not all over but just to the knots to stop them weeping resin

Edit but you can apply it all over if you want to also waterproof it

what I was refering to above was its original use & subsequent name given to it because of its original use

Korm, it's very good for sealing Balsa and cardboard, gives them a hard surface, can be sanded and then painted and as I've said is weather proof. What would be similar in Paraguay I have no idea matey

thanks both. now i got the idea.

don, your first answer made me think of a former neighbour of ours.
she never washed the wool. before making strings she only combed out the bigger things from it.
everything, she made, from stuffed bedding to sweaters and socks felt and smelled somewhat special....

(things got a bit less sticky, after the first few washings with homemade soap.)

well, those paperboxes are something for the background.

now i tested some ideas for the foreground.

those boxes don't take more than ten to fifteen minutes per item (twenty - if i count waiting for the glue)
