That has to be close to a LYD 2, shirley??
..........
Actually, no - the Lxd2/L45H is a bogie loco (a bo-bo), the Lyd2 is a 6-wheel shunter... totally different beasts.

Oh that helps. Like a lot. That goes on the list! Just don't expect it this year, I've got way too much to do between now and Peterborough as it is!!!In case it helps...
Faur L45H - Google Search

A very ubiquitous Eastern European NG loco, with a nice relatively simple body shape..... for ages I've been thinking about trying to scratchbuild a "close-enough" one on the chassis and bogies on an LGB V52, but a ready-done body kit would make it a whole lot easier!
Folks who have been on here for a while may remember that James Hilton built one of the Blauturm CNC-machined-styrene kits (ye Gods, I've just googlied it and found it was back in 2012.... where do the years go?) - there is some video of it on his blog here:

The L45H is also known as the Lxd2, as far as I'm aware they are basically the same loco.

Excellent to know. I mean, I want two so.......... hence making a kit!Don't distract them Jon, I am secretly saving for a Class 91 - so far I have saved £10![]()
LYD2? It'll go on the thinking about it list. Emma, I mean, I know a guy who can go measure it or might know where I can get drawings so.......... That one is 'slightly' more possible than an LYD2 at the moment. That has to be close to a LYD 2, shirley??
I would love one of these, a la WHHR.. Oh, and 'Emma' should be a dead simple one to do.
PS What, by the way, is your given-name, Mr Bowaters representative?
Sorry about that. I’ll look into it when I get a spare 5 minutes. Might not make the initial release thisNo tea cups on the tables![]()
