Well having a spare Bachmann 4-6-0 chassis decided to build an Edwardian loco this is it. Its a cross between an enlarged Lambton Colliery tank and an a 0-6-4t that ran on the Barry Railway South Wales and theres a bit of ireland there as well ! Its a big engine and is show very good haulage all wheels pickup and the livery well thought about a change never done such an intricate livery before I think its well worth all needs now are lights and a crew !

What a tremendously effective 'bash'.
It really does have the S Wales feel to it and everything looks 'in scale'.
As for being based upon the Bachmann 4-6-0 chassis I wouldn't have believed it if you hadn't told us! :admire:

Very nice. AND, I've got a bachmann annie chassis that I've been wondering what to do with - had wondered about something harz-ish, but it's one of the inside valve gear versions, so something like this'd suit a lot better..

Nice bash! Would have never guessed it started life as a ten wheeler!

-Brian

It still is a ten wheeler, but certainly has lost that American look. Fantastic effort.

Really well done, especially the paint work. One of the better "geographical re-assignment" Bachmann bashes I have seen!

Hi Everyone ,
I've got to say thats a fantastic looking loco , why not tell bachmann how you did it , so they can make them for all of us . I cannot get over how good she looks , I would buy one !
Cheers Garry .
P.S. Lets tell the model makers what we want instead of accepting what they give us , compromise will benefit us all !
