Big Hauler Remote

Hi...Does anyone have a Bachmann Big Hauler RC Remote they would like to sell?
Thanks

You need to look at the loco for the frequency - 27 or 40

The original plastic Big Hauler had a proprietary r/c system. I've not read of anyone successfully replacing it - perhaps because there is no point in fixing a loco with plastic driving wheels that have a finite and short lifespan.

Hi....I am looking for the cable that plugs into the base of the battery compartment to allow the use of a rechargeable battery instead of the D cells.
I believe such a cable was provided by Bachmann many moons ago.
Any help would be much appreciated
George

Thanks Greg....The connecting socket has 4 pins and I agree only 2 (p + N) pins should be required. I already have a selection of rechargeable battery packs so would make sense to use them.

OK, there was an accessory cable, not sure if it was supplied with the loco or you had to buy it.

It connects that 4 pin socket to the standard 2 pin "Tamiya" connector on standard 7.2 volt nicad packs of the day.

The 4 pin connector in the bottom of the battery compartment that has a gray, a brown, a blue and a black wire... the gray and brown wires go to the square pin on the tamaya plug, and the blue and the black wires go to the D shaped Tamiya connector.

Fantastic, thanks Greg. I don't suppose you know the sequence of the colours on the battery box end?

Once again thanks.......I will have to make up my own cable. Do you know the type name of the 4 way connector on loco?
