It was sunny, life was good so it had to be a train day. Let my big one out (ooh er missus) and gave it a run around the layout to see what it could see.
A little challenge for it (clue)
First it showed off next to a venerable Accucraft K27

The Beaver Creek Quarry carried on crushing slate and the local monolith company continued to crate and dispatch huge lumps of slate.

While in Arrowhead everything seemed a little laid back as people boarded the local sight seeing tour

Back down in Beaver Creek life was also at a crawl.

The Vee Dublya Garage was working at its usual snail pace.

A heated discussion was going on at the yard tower. Someone was upset and in a heavy mood.
The chief controller was desperately trying to attract someone.

The little Accucraft C16 waited its turn to show what it could do. Unfortunately, not much, but everyone is too kind to tell it

Beaver Creek's only 4-6-0 Annie passes by behind

At the end of the day the C16 gets a little chance and then has to be sorted, embarassingly, right out side the station.

From that vantage point he can see way over to the old timers playing chequers whilst their old auto just rusts away
