Bachmann K27 min radius?

Just a question as quite a few of you on here run them,what is the minimum radius for the Baccy k27`s,I have/still doing LGB radius 3(8ft) relay of the main loop on the railroad including pointwork,Connie seems fine,not bothered by clearances or overhangs.I`m on the lookout for one ,they appear to be as rare as hens teeth now but don`t want to outlay the cash if me curves gonna be toooo tight,thanks in advance.......Rio
 
I'm pretty certain that 8ft is OK, but it's the overhang that may be a problem. The K27 is wide, although I don't think it's any wider than the Connie, but the length of the nose is likely to describe quite a wide arc on the 8ft curves

has anyone seen jens handros k27 464 on you tube with the fantastic smoke and smoking generator

it is well worth a look ,, type in jens handro 464 k27 and it will come up top

I WANT ONE TOO!!!!!! I have done some web checking and it appears that the smallest radius they like is 8ft dia,but as I said here in the first post large overhangs,in my case not a problem,I have been looking but none about,just want a plain and simple DC item with 8 wheels n those spinnin`counterweights and the Baldwin cab and,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Rio off in dreamland now,do not disturb:snooze::snooze::snooze::snooze::snooze::envy:

I have just checked out that video,brilliant,smoke,generator,swinging bell,the works:clap:thanks for the link,seen quite a few of Jens vids but not that one before,anybody who can make corrigated sheets from old cat food tins gets my vote and as for wanting a K27,,,,I want THAT ONE:envy::envy::envy::envy:,just might watch it again!!!!
 
its the smoke from the steam generator that gets me,,, and really good smoke and chuff,,,

its probably the best k27 out there,,, im not sure about the whistle sound or the actual sound or the brake squeal

ie how accurate it is,,,,, but its a very very good model and i hope jens can post on you tube just how he has and what he has

done to this loco,,,

Too true,I could have 8ft of track and run it back and forth for hours and of course not to forget the operating reverse levers,awesome model:envy::envy:but quite a fan,I like most things he posts,great buildings too.
