Something tells me you're partial to the NS? I loved the Southern with it's high nose engines. The GP-30 being my favorite along with the SD-40-2 with the long "porch" running long nose forward. My old English car repair shop was on the main line between Salisbury and Asheville NC. The piedmont division. MY shop was at the 25 mile post in Statesville. In the earlier days we had a switcher then later the local #60 and #61 serviced the business. became good friends with the crew and had many a cab ride in the southern days.
