Artificial Grass (not sure if this is really the correct bit of the forum, but nevermind!)

I was in a local garden centre on Sunday and happened to notice a display of samples of artificial grass, in varying shades, lengths and styles - I picked up a flyer for it, and here is their website:
www.artificialgrass.org.uk
Company is called Verde Sports Ltd.
Their stuff is NOT cheap, but it is of very nice quality and surprisingly natural looking - I thought some of their products might be useful for some folks' indoor layouts, or even for small outdoor areas.
Mind you, with the mess that the puppies are making of the lawn, I'm quite tempted to put something like this over the whole lot... ;)

I tried to find "urban turf") on the website but failed. I'm getting fed up of weeds and am seriously thinking of artificial grass around the garden line.

If you want to check the stuff out and see some samples, Steve, the place I saw it and picked up the leaflet was Poplar Nurseries out at Marks Tey. :D

Urban Turf is a company as you say and not a product as Mike's post seemed to suggest (to me). As the shorter, the better, seems to be the case it is no good me sending off to the UK for samples as postage (for the selected product) would be a killer. Thanks Barry anyway.
The other site (Jon's post) does have suppliers over here but links to our nearest don't appear to work. And its too far to travel so I'll find a way (maybe).

I have used this Verde Grass on the front of my house, have the best grass ALL year round. I am going to use it in the planned gardden railway/model village project. I have no option and it makes sense, since cats and birdies cannot dig through it, and slugs and snails don't seem to like it either!! Win Win
