Hi Adam

I have a boxed and unused GBRf one which I am happy to dispose of. It is currently in store with the rest of my G Scale stuff following a house move so it may be a week or so until I can retrieve it and provide a photo. Let me know if you are interested.

Regards

not been made for ? six years ?, an import to the UK, and one of very few iconic British outline diesels available in this size RTR..
Many are beginning to show the amount of wear and tear they have received as a much-loved model..

If you could get 200 plain primered bodies, and come up with a reasonable chassis / motor-block, reckon you could make a killing??

I didn't consider them an "import", IIRC they were a collaboration between Aristo and Bachmann Europe and readily available here in the UK or the continent, albeit not in large numbers.

I just think £500 - £600+ is too much for what you get quality-wise etc. It's good but not THAT good!

I think it compares with the latest Ge 'box' with the cows stuck on the side??
Look at the price of that..

I have managed in the past tp pick up different 66s for around 250 each, they are quite sought after because of what they are, but you can get lucky
I also picked up a GBRF and three sets of containers for £600, all brand new in their original packing boxes
I picked the two EWS 66135 versions up for £250 each , which were the basis for the COLAS ones
Eyes open,
