Hi, is this type of point motor worth while ie do they work well and can they be used with other makes like LGB.

Not familiar with ART, but I have recently purchased one of the Train-Line DCC ones, and it works very well?

Nice slow action when the blades move.

Looks robust enough to survive the winter....

They are not weather proof but if sealed, (with silicon or other method), they work well and are pretty robust...provided nothing gets into the moving parts!
