Hi all, I am in Victoria BC with a small garden layout. Mostly geared locos, with track and battery power in most.

Hello Joe,
Welcome to the Forum!

Guess it is a bit chilly, for you to be running, this time of year?

Victoria is generally mild but we have just had a dump of snow, which will stick around for a week or more. The layout is buried too deep to plow.

Welcome to the forum Joe....

So it is welcome from him and welcome from me as well, enjoy what is in here much to search and find. Just remember that search will find nothing if you only use 3 letters like LGB!

Joe welcome to the forum, lots of information buried in the old threads, you have not had the warning yet about the dire humour, ;) so be aware, also we like to see photos of your work and progress - good luck :)

Welcome to the madness joe

Welcome to the pleasuredome - oh wait, that one has been done. Still, a warm welcome from me doing HO in Luxembourg but I'm still allowed to play test here with the big boys ;)

You ever allowed over to the mainland? If so, I can introduce you to a great bunch of like-minded individuals in Delta and Westminster.

Welcome! Love to see some photos or videos of your line in action.

Welcome to the forum Joe, you should get all the help you need from here, even questions about non railway topics seem to get a decent answer. Just beware of the strange humour

Not much "action" this time of year. Just over a big dump of snow that was too deep for my wedge snow plow. In the process of replacing the plastic blades on my rotary plow with metal blades. Then replacing the puny motor with something with more "oomph".
