I like the concept of Blunami but wonder if I could use it with battery power.
How would that work?
I have a couple of old android phones so would lean toward them, never owned or used any Apple products at all.
I just installed a bluenami in a LGB Forney. Fiting it all in was a challenge. I got it running about two weeks ago. It is hands down the best system out there that I've used. I have CVP, two piko, and g-scale graphics. Also have My loco sound and Phoenix sound. CVP with Phoenix being the best till now. Bluenami blows all the others into the 20th centuary. It is wonderful. Simple to use and yet will do anything. One of my favorite features is wheel slip. Climbing a grade one hits the botton and the engine sounds like it slipping and recovering. The blunami is all in one very small board and it does everything.
I'm useing a I-phone seven and I purchased a used 6th gen I-pad off of E for about $160.00
I use battery power. I have two more
Tenergy 7.4V Li-ion 2200mAh Rechargeable Battery Module with PCB
ordered for the conversion of a second forney. Plan to start on it till I can purchase a second blunami.
For me there is nothing else on the market. Yes a double header forneys are in my future.
