As mentioned in the Coffee Room spent the afternoon at the Romney Marsh Engineering Society...and was pleasantly surprised that Stockers was there when I arrived. Normally the RMMES track is busy on a Tuesday afternoon but for some reason there were not many trains running today:

.....normally the sidings at the left are full of trains ready for the off....

Got my train up and running.....

...mine is the little one on the left.....and it's not the promised LGB Kof:laugh:. Also running on an adjacent track was a handbuilt steamie - it certainly whizzes around:

Also running was a Stainz owned by one of the junior members - both his Dad and Grandad are drivers on the RHDR

....and also a steamie owned by a GSS Sussex member - but not a Centralist:thumbdown:

It was a nice afternoon in the (half) sun Keith. Good to see the big steamers (3, 5.5 and 7.25 gauge) also.
Live steamers from Sussex

Once Stockers sorted out some imperefctions in the rather bumpy Gauge O track the Kof chugged round the track whilst the steamie was experiencing problems:

On the lower MTS track a Harz Brute and train had the track to themselves:

A couple of trams were whizzing around:

....and an ICE which I'm told was picked up for £50 BIN on e-bay

Little and Large were enjoying themselves....but the steamie was still having problems

The Harz Brute was seen chasing the Kof with the dejected steamie given up hope in the background

The next pictures are of some of the bigger stuff running on the elevated tracks which encircle the smaller gauge tracks:

It was a good afternoon with plenty happening - but NO it was not mine, t'was a 222 mine is 7234. The 222 just happened to be there.

Last pics from me are of the Harz Brute moving from the lower to upper track - normally the lower track is MTS and the upper Analogue but on quiet days it can be switched to MTS on both lower and upper tracks:

....and the last pic, the Harz Brute racing round the upper level track - don't think you can beat a 2-10-2T steamie on a train of HSB coaches - fab:thumbup:
