UK/US/ROW steam narrow gauge railways 1:1
Welcome Eric. We have a wet west side to our island, it's known as Wales. There is another island, Ireland, further west, it's even wetter. I'm right in the middle of the UK, Buckinghamshire, it gets quite wet here too. We even sometimes get flooded here despite being as far from the sea as you can get in this fair isle.
I got started in 2003. Originally track power, now run battery and live steam. Yes, both options are pricey, but needs must as they say. My line is mostly in shade and as a result mitigated toward a lot of track cleaning and not much ground cover of the easily manegable veriety. Legs a knees now starting to give out, still only 70, hence the move away from track power. Alpines grow well here though. My rolling stock - US D&RGW and logging NG + UK & Colonial NG. Post more pictures, we like pictures ! Max.
Managing the unmanageable on my line.
