Looking for some spare running board hangers over the weekend, I found that out of 6, only 2 where good, hmm so out with the drill where they'd broke off and made a hole 1.5mm x 6mm deep (be careful, as the casting is only about 2mm) and glued in a bit of mains cable (1.5mm) and when set bent to shape, should stronger and returned back to shape after earth faults
