A new year, a new start

Managed to get a few trains running this evening:thumbup: But I think I've a bit of track work to do, found one or two dead pieces of track, a call to a certain G Scale retailer in South Wales may be in order to get some rail clamps:bigsmile:.

Been a busy weekend here, after the winter, found that we had several dead places on the track. After investigation, loose joints were found to be the cause.

So, after a trip to a certain G Scale retailer in South Wales, several Massoth railclamps were procured:thumbup:, a big track maintenance programme was started.

This was one of the problem tracks

You can't allow a few bad joints to clamp your style mate....

The PWG were kept busy:rolleyes: the next problem was the points just north of Woodside

Had a day off work today, so, after a trip into Colchester (had to pay for the new car:thumbup::bigsmile:) a day on the railway was the order of the day.

The tarmac gang have been at work, laying the road at Palm Junction. Job done:thumbup:

Once the road was laid, the shops opened.

But come closing time, the tram stop was busy
