I know nothing about continental Europe. Do they have wagons that just move 20 ft boxes in real life?

I have a published picture somewhere of a 20ft container on a four-wheeled wagon (poosibly an old coach chassis). This was in SW France on a standard gauge independent line back in the 1960s or possibly the early 1970s. It happened, but was certainly not mainstream.

BTW - really like the Safmarine container.

Rule 8 - absolutely right!
Little detail, just FYI, the label "Bahnmeisterwagen" on the side could be translated with "Railway engineering carriage".
Of course no one knows why Newqida put it there...
:D
This kitbashing idea is great if you wanna get a whole train together without being broke...
