The curved track across the black centre area is clamped on the right, and can be swung to meet any of the 5 stubs on the left.
It has some cunning features to keep the swing rails the 'same' length as their curve varies, look at the enlarged picture on the Train-Li page.

I built my own much simpler uncompensated (and cheaper) 4-way version -

The best ideas are always the simplest. I like this. Makes best use of space and considerably cheaper than 3 sets of points. I'll give it a go I think. Thanks for sharing the concept on GSC.
 
Very smart indeed but for that money surely it could be motorised? 8|

Do a thread on how you made yours, it's very interesting if like me space is at a minimum and some trains can stay coupled. :thumbup:
