4135 S Steam Sound

How do I adjust the volume on the 4135-14-2 sound board?

If you're referring to an LGB brand 4135 Sound Box Car, then there's a small round control knob on the inside circuit board. If you can't reach it, you'll need to remove the car's roof by pulling it up and off at one of the corners...….there's a snap tag at each corner of the roof. See the attached LGB Instruction booklet.

I have one of these Sound Box Cars, and when using in analogue I am disappointed that there is no bells and whistles as with the sound tender I have. Can the LGB 65012 Mogul/Sound Unit Function Trigger e fitted and if so how.

I have one of these Van Based Sound Units, I can see nothing that would enable Bells or Whistles to be enacted. Quite likely the Sound Tender has a the facility via a Reed Switch and a Track Magnet to enable them?

Jon, yes the tender does have reed switches, I though this doesn’t, I was wondering if more sounds could be made available.
Reading the Manual it would appear not. But a ‘My Loco Sound Board’ will will you more functions. But at around £59 a pop you would need to consider if it is worth it. Though if you decided on any Battery Power that Van would make a good start as a Battery Van should you get a MLS.
