Jane and I will be there all weekend..
I am on the Traders list!
It is worth making a weekend of it..
The Welshpool and Llanfair gala is running from the Friday (1st September).
There are also a number of model railways at Raven Square (Welshpool end of the line).

Unfortunately they organised the Llanfair show on the same weekend as the Guage 0 Guild exhibition, and I'm helping operate a layout next week, maybe next year.

I think our last visit was before Flu, 5 years ago, so we are due another trip....

Just thinking about it, I can't remember crossing the border for an exhibition since before 2020, my wife, who keeps a mental record, says this is the first time I've been to guildex since September 2019.
Och we just need to find our mojo for things again and folk to get back to the swing of checking what other exhibitions are on when organising events.
I trust we'll see plenty of photos here for those of us who cannae get to Llanfair.
I have only recently joined the Gauge O Guild (I am still not sure whether it should be a capital 'O' or a zero?) 
So Guildex was not on my radar..
The Llanfair show is always the same weekend as the Welshpool & Llanfair gala.
I have never really seen very much (of the model railways) at the Welshpool end of the line, so my cunning-plan is we are travelling on the Thursday, and will have a mooch, at Raven Square (station at Welshpool) before racking-up at the leisure centre (in Llanfair Caereinion) to set-up for the Saturday and Sunday.
Anyone who does go:
Do say hello, or throw buns! - Possibly, the only way I will get fed, during opening hours?

Had planned to, even securing Dra Estrecha's company by promising a short hol in the area, but the flipping spine says otherwise

It's 0, not O. The gauges/scales invented by Henry Greenley were numbered, not lettered.

Steve is his own worst enemy, in this respect.
It is listed on UK Model Shop's site, and with a 'push' I got him to update the entry with Traders and Layouts.

I'm writing our itinerary for our trip to Wales, with hotels, train fares, exhibition entry, postcodes, etc.
Normally something Mizzy does, but she is working. I'm at home almost recovered from a back injury, so I've been given the task this time around....
You are correct..
The bigger names, are less inclined to make an appearance.

A seed of doubt was sown about the Model displays at Raven Square (Welshpool).
There may be the odd person still setting up, Friday am, but according to the show organiser, All will be done by lunchtime.

Mizzy and I will be travelling up on Friday, checking in to the hotel early in the afternoon, so we should be able to mooch up to Raven Square later....
