00, I am not G scale but a member asked me to join and share my weathering techniques

I was chatting to someone whilst at a different hobby, and we got to talking trains, he showed me some of his great trains, G scale, and I showed my 00 scale, he liked my weathering techniques and asked me to share them here.

FYI although I paint and weather the buildings they are NOT built by me, they are resin made by Hornby. elements are updated to improve their realism.

Goathland is part of a larger layout. in addition to this Goathland has been used for filming, Heartbeat the TV series was used as was the village, otherwise known as Aidensfield.

I do, although they take up so much time that so far there is only a small selection. so it is usually based on a specific building I want to add to the layout. such as this house used as a police station in Heartbeat.
