The Woodlock Line

Yes I was wondering about cats paw marks, even with fast setting stuff you were lucky to get away with it with Moggies being so curious as they are. I should have sent those little curves as that last wiggle I had probably the perfect left over R1 cut piece for it but perhaps you already had a suitable bit of previously cut curve for the location.

Will be fun and with trains disappearing for s while will add so much to the fun, looking forward to a visit at some stage.
Ah, well you sent 12 so I used the 12th to cut for that little wiggle. When you come through, I'll take you to my dad's just down the road for a look at his too.

A little test train to the electrical limits of the railway. Tried calling Jadlam 3 times this morning to no answer, on top of the 7 yesterday with no answer, and still no reply to their contact us from, or direct email. It's now 7 days....

The waterproof box is in place for the reverse loop module.

The lilac trees in the back garden need cutting desperately, but they're about to flower, so I'm not allowed.....

Off to the pub soon, but the weather turned good this afternoon, so had a simple train going around. This isn't the only locomotive I have, but the rest are still in the loft, pending new shelves which I can't do until the new sofa arrives for the spare room. Today, at 6pm, Royal Mail made a delivery (Royal Mail 24) posted yesterday. The stuff I ordered last week. Didn't know it was coming, still no contact from Jadlam. So first thing tomorrow I better get in touch with the bank to try halting the charge back....

Anyway, the reverse loop works. I'll do the points at the side of house tomorrow, I have the motors ready.

All really good stuff! The only thing I don't get is the small kink between the step straight and the points.

i thought about that too.
maybe he put it, to get the plant more centred in the middle of the loop?
Ahhh, 2 reasons. It's so that the plant is a bit more centre which also stops the cutting been too deep, as the other half insisted on natural borders. The other is so that there is enough clearance with central overhang on long vehicles, such as my P42 and Harz Railcars, so by swinging it the other way gives more room. If I hadn't, the point would have to be further onto the grass, pushing the hoop too close to the edge of the garden and plants.

Busy morning. Put the point motors on the house side loop, now that it's going to be seeing regular use. Replacement of some copper wire which was done temporarily as it's all I had. It had finally corroded resulting in failure of number 5 points.

The railway is now fully operational. Just looking forward to the grass repairing in the front. Oh, and a good track clean maybe this afternoon.

After spending an hour trying to rectify a problem with some R3 points, I think I've done it, but not sure how. The Forney would not take the point, despite been ok this morning. It's rear pony trucks kept cutting the point blade. A bit of packing and it's ok....

Right, BBQ.
