Brilliant , love the sound and the layout, and not far from my parents in Charltonkings

Great - really like your generous curves. Challenger or Big Boy?

Thanks, all! (blushes)

Steven, the trees are undamaged, some of them just lean at funny angles! (a bit like me at times).

Steve, feel free to drop in here whenever you visit your parents.

Royale, the layout was designed with wide curves to be suitable for big American locos and long consists.
Yes, you're right, it is a Big Boy or Challenger.

Nice one. Since I got the keyfob camera I've been thinking about that view, also from the tender looking back and on top of the caboose looking forward.

...could you post a map of the layout?

Phil, it's basically a big oval.
The ride-on video starts 1/2 way along the bottom, going anti-clockwise.

Looks and sounds fantastic Hamish. Congratulations on getting the line operational!

Nice one Hamish.

Add my congratulations to the above posts.

Excellent.

But I think you need to get down to the end of the garden and sort out that wire fence! :rolf:
