Wiring old LGB 3 Wire Point Motors from a 2 wire supply

Hello again
A little while ago, somebody showed me how to operate old LGB 3 wire point motors fom the modern 2 wire system and I have lost it!!
It involved 2 diodes ( i think) so can anybody help please?
Bill

the new ones need diodes, the old ones dont, just common to centre and a pulse to the other conections to throw the motor

I cant see how that can work with two wires. How can you pulse to two separate outer connections with one wire?
The circuit was all about connecting up the centre common and selecting the appropriate outer using the diodes.

Hi Bill
This should do the trick, I suggest you use 1N4004 or similar diodes.
If the motor operates the wrong way round just swap the outer connections over at the point motor.
