I don't leave my locomotives out overnight and I'll bring them in permanently once we have some wintry weather.

The major part of my point-work is protected with green plastic garden sheets as is most of the electrical connections.

That leaves outside just a bit of Playmobil and my track.

My stock, carriages etc., are in either my shed or a storage box outside. Will it be alright to leave it like that do you think please?

Thank you.

Sarah

Should be fine Sarah.

I've left LGB and HLW wagons out during winter with no ill effects....

Yes, the locos need to be somewhere where they do not attract moisture as in condensation - in a box in an unheated shed is usually OK

Rolling stock in an external storage box - no probs.

Most people don't cover their track - some people use it :cool::cool:

Couldn't find my snowplough last time we had some white stuff (too many boxes in the garage). Managed to struggle on though, not like Abellio!

I take it that you haven't built your snow plough yet then :devil::devil::devil:

Gareth (3 Valve of this parish) has plans for a standard G Scale Mad plough :nod::nod: - mine is a slightly enhanced version to take account of the larger scale :nerd::nerd::nerd:

And your point is Chris? :-)

Though at 05.47 on Sunday 21st October we haven't the weather of more wintry climates it is cooler and I do suffer terribly from the cold.

I've had my initial painkillers and am enjoying my first decaff of the day with a large bowl of shreddies waiting in the wings.

Unfortunately the enjoyment of my trains has succumbed to the discomfort of the pain in my arms and shoulders so apart from my usual Sunday chores I'll be reading most of today.
