What to do? Aristocraft Pacific conversion into a BR Clan .. Hengist

This might be the commencement of another conversion. The question is should I go ahead and chop up this Aristocraft American pacific with the aim of creating something that hopefully will capture the appearance of a mini Britannia or Clan class loco. In the back of my mind is the fact that in Sheffield after what must be nearly 40 years in gestation the shape of a new build full sized clan (72010 Hengist) is beginning to make real progress.
After having taken a semi derelict Aristocraft 2-8-2 to replicate a might have been version of Riddles never built 8F ahold I set about chopping up this rather nice model of a Vaguely USRA pacific bought sometime ago in this quest???
