Waynes Saxon Rolling Stock

After our past conversation I will post various photos of some of Wayne's projects. He models Harz, Saxon NG lines plus some of the private lines (that were nationalized over time). On his layout he either runs Metre stock or 750mm stock. The trains are often doubled up- more due to the lack of 750mm variations etc. All is run by Digitrax DCC and locos are fitted with either Zimo, LGB or Loksound decoders. All of these Saxon wagons were made to order for someone in The Netherlands.

One morning I set him a challenge to make a small trailer for his "pig snout" railbus and sent him some photos. Bet you cant make this work then, I said! What a fool. It bugged him that much that by afternoon at 430 he was on the net to me with this. It works a treat and follows along nicely behind the bus. The small wheels at the front and back of it all work and stabilize the wagon when it has
been parked up!

Very nice, would be good to see a pic of the Prototype, have seen French ones but not German. Also how it couples up to a G Scale Piggy. I presume he also makes his own Transfers for Lettering which looks superb.

I did find a photo of one on the DR but think it was standard gauge. It looks very good behind the railbus. There is also one in the Dutch rail museum as well being towed behind a tram. Will try to dig out both photos.

Wayne has been getting all his decals printed locally but that is now becoming a problem so we are looking to Australia etc for a source of custom decals.
