I have sorted a few surplus 4 wheel coaches to go on ebay. There are 5 Zillertal ones but they are Brown. I didn't think they came in green.

I think the green ones are SKTB or similar, but essentially the same vehicle. I'm looking for green so happy if Andy takes the brown ones....

I was looking for at least one of these last year, and actually posted on the 'wants' section of the forum.

There were no replies.

The green coaches are Hungarian MAV stock. You could possibly modify a Newquida made coach. The brown ones were donated by the Zillertalbahn. The LGB are somewhat short. Lineside Hut made a beautiful Zillertal coach kit, no longer available, but even that did not replicate the examples at the WLLR ones. Max

I know the colour is wrong, but when I was making them I asked the W&L for help in getting the RAL number.

As was common in those days, such mundane questions got ignored.

Tac,

these seats, are they custom(hand)made, or where are they from?

thanks, korm

Thanks Max and Tac, the MAV coaches are 4 axle bogie vehicles and we are looking for a 2 axle, or 4 wheel coach. WLLR have some brown Zillertal ones and some green ones.

It's a green 2 axle short one we are after, similar to LGB 32078 or 39074....

This is the type of coach we are looking for. We rode in one for part of our trip.

I'd prefer a green one as this is our corporate colour for passenger coaches....

Thank you to those who replied to my request.

I have now found what I wanted....

The coaches were bought from the
SalzKammerGutLocalBahn (SKGLB).
Originally based in Salzburg.
The Zillertabahn coaches are also in service on the WLLR. See picture.

I've done the Newqida bash with two coaches, as shown elsewhere on the forum. The article was in GR some years back. I need the two-axle coaches - any colour is fine.
