I am looking for several specific LGB Coop refrigerator cars. Items I am interested in are:

LGB NumberDecoration
45890Pineapple
45894Gerbera
49890.01Yellow Pepper
49890.02Sunflower

Happy to purchase if you have one for sale; but if you also are collecting them I can offer the following to exchange:

LGB NumberDescription
45898-01Potato car. Half of the 45898 Potato and Carrot set, split by the dealer. I don't have the carrot I'm afraid. Shipped with metal wheels.
45897Lemon car. Duplicate accidentally purchased in a moment of online over-excitement. Shipped ex-works with plastic wheels but I can substitute Bachmann/Lilliput metal wheels which I got from another forumite for £10 for the two axles.

Both the above items have been stored in original boxes and have never run. Only removed from boxes to add second suppled coupling and recently to photograph. Boxes unmarked; transparent film on Potato wagon box has come partly loose. Can post photos if anyone is interested. In case of exchange I would suggest we each bear our own postage costs. Happy to deliver/collect Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey, West Sussex.

There's a 45894 (Gerbera) listed on eBay right now (363546463717) from a German seller.

Your other COOP container wants have also recently been listed on eBay Germany too, though the listings have now closed.

Many thanks for the pointer. I do want one, but that price is a deterrent. As these items seem to be fairly rare, I was hoping an offer to swap might flush out another collector. As it is I may have to sell the Lemon and Potato andt buy at an inflated price!

Like many things LGB, it started on a whim and grew into a (mild) obsession.

I particularly want the Gerbera but the Yorkshireman in me says not at that price.

Even grabbing the Coop liveried loco had a downside; it lured me into mfx......ah well.....

If I don't get any swap propositions in the next week or so I'll be putting the Lemon and Potato on the sale forum together with some Saxon coaches and if I get a decent price maybe the Gerbera will become "affordable" (hollow laugh)
