Wanted, cleaning loco spares and playmobil

Hi, bit of a shot in the dark here but in desperate need of a very hard to get hold of part. I have a cleaning loco and need a replacement axle for the cleaning wheels. I bought it second hand quite a while ago and decided to change the cleaning discs, only to find some 'very nice' person had glued one of the screws that holds the cleaning wheels to the axle. The head sheared off and left the shank in the axle. It also appears the cleaning wheel backplate has been glued on too, as it won't come off the axle :@

The bit i'm after is part number 46 on the pic above. Does anyone have one from a retired cleaner, or does anyone have any idea where to get one from?

I'm also after a wheelset carrier for a 2 axle playmobil coach, one axle has elongated the hole that it sits in by about 4mm. If anyone has one please contact me.
Many thanks,
Tim

Cant help with the cleaner but for the playmobil wheel carrier - try gluing in a short piece of pipe - a bit of brass or even styrene from a hobby shop should do it.

PM sent re: Playmobil spare part.

Thanks guys. I thought of the bit of pipe idea, had a hunt for a bit in the spares boxes, couldn't find any so thought I'd get a repacement first. Has anyone tried Champex Linden for spares recently? Is there anywhere in the uk that is able to locate spares yet?
Many thanks,
Tim

Ok, I'll give them a message and take it from there. Thanks guys :D

Will do. Will give a chance for them to get back to me, I only ever seem to realise I need these bits on bank holidays and sundays when noone is open. :D

Hi all,
I have already sent Tim a PM as I order (spare) parts from Germany quite regularly. If there is anyone else who needs a part (or parts), please PM me and we can possibly combine orders to reduce postage etc.

Well an update on getting spares... I thought I was going to have a right tough time trying to locate the two bits I was after, but Ade (Adeshers) came to my rescue with getting the playmobil part, and I have the cleaning loco's new axle sitting here, less than a week after starting a search! Very happy bunny indeed! Chalk Garden Rail had the axle, so we have a least 2 sources of spares with Marc (Bunnyrabbit03) offering direct from europe parts too.
Thanks to everyone for your help and for making this forum so great and helpful :D :D :D
