Videos of July and September open days at Beavercreek videos made by Tony !

Two very entertaining videos - particularly the cattle train - just the sound effects (how did you do them Mike?). Tony's filming and editing is pretty neat:thumbup:

wow lovely stuff.... we look forward to welcoming the beavercreak delegation to cogges.... My modelling has got some way to go (lightyears) before they reach beavercreek standards, but we do good grub!

Thanks Mick and Ian. Tony has done a goodly job on the vids

The cow sounds are made by a QSI Live action card. They were made about 9 years ago and were digital! They have about 14 different sounds of cows mooing and have a very clever little device which makes more contact as the car rocks and the cows get more agitated.
I bought about 3 of the cards from the states on ebay pretty cheaply. They are really good and the cow sounds are extremely realistic.
The boards even have a baffled speaker on board!

Fantastic video of your cattle train Mike the cattle sound very nice and your Annie made light work of the train with your extra motor blocks it looked like your line was on the level .
The black and white film of your Geeps also looked very nice creeping up your grade
Looks like i missed a good day but was busy riding the Jacobite in Scotland on holiday .

Hi Ted
many thanks for your kind comments on the railway and of course Tony's vids.
Some were shot over a year ago and a few things have changed since then. Tony changed his video camera at some time between 2011 and 2012 and went to Hi Def with a Panasonic SD90. I think that all of the vids that are on my signature were shot with his old Standard Def camera.
I am not sure what video edit prog that he uses...it will be a free one more than likely! and it will be a Windows jobbie.
I used to do a lot of semi pro video for schools and the like and use a Mac with Imovie for rough stuff and then Final Cut Pro for finished product. It is strange but I have never videoed my layout..don't know why...probably because others were doing it and making nice little vids like Tony....I will rectify that next year!

Tony no longer comes onto the forum for one reason or another and maybe does not pick up his pms (you could still try..his user name is 'Tony'), but I will contact him and tell him and you can hopefully discuss with the guy himself!
