Scratch building Bridges and Buildings.</br>Steame
With discussion in the use of insulation blocks on the track section and discussion on the use of Plaster's bead angle on bridge building, I though some folk might like to see how it is 'married ' together Videos of actual trains running on this track are shown on the Youtube section the link should point to!

I have received critique that my Track and bridge Video above would have been better if I had included some trains!
I have therfore added some extra shots, but unfortunately may suggest I have some magical powers to transfor an electric(battery) train into a steam train!

Here is the 'new' link

What a brilliant railways

Veeeery nice indeed

Very effective cantilever bridges and clever use of granite "veneer" too!

That's an optical illusion created by the structures. It is a small garden approx 36ft by about 24ft!

I have now added a camera to a truck driven at the front of a battery driven loco. This gives the impression of the view from the loco drivers position on the train.

Hi JE

Thanks to your advice I have pretty much completed my 1st suspension bridge using (plastic) plasterer's bead supported by 1" box steel arches.... not totally happy with the weathering which I've just completed?!

These bridges look great! they have that light airy look that real bridges do where they try to save weight, very effective............

After the other videos I have now completed a little video of the ground level track that I have used previously for most of my running. The elevated track tuns over the top of this track, This video gives a different angle on how the two inter-twine alog the back of the garden. ( the bang at the end was the loco carrying case falling over.
