Sorry for the succession of daft questions tonight but does anyone have any experience of Timpdon Electronics?
Theres is the first R/C system I've fully understood as its simple, like me. I quite like the Fag Packet sized transmitter too, instead of a huge model aircraft type thingy... Nicely priced too.......is it any good?
Don't know mate, but check out Cliff Barker's before deciding. That I can vouch for as being brilliant.

You should find everything you need to know here mate;

If not, ask away. I've put my remote stuff into battery wagons, but you can just as easily put everything into the loco providing there's room.

Ok Mel, my best guess is that I require a B23

"A.M. 6 button Mini transmitter with ¼ wave Antenna & 2 amp (10 - 20 volt version) receiver/motor driver with ?Rainsun? Antenna for small electric loco, with 2.1mm charge socket and switch"

Am I in the right area? LOL
ya know what? Im sposed to be an electrical engineer but radio stuff leaves me cold (unless it has valves)
Best bet is to give Cliff a bell mate. He's a smashing bloke and will advise you on exactly what you'll need (most of it comes as a package - handset, receiver/speed controller etc.). His prices on batteries etc. are pretty unbeatable too - miles cheaper than Maplins for instance.
