They are mine he says with an evil laugh......

tramcar trev

all manner of mechanical apparatus...
Wow it pays to be in a G scale niche, I just won an enclosed bachmann tram for AU$92 posted from dear old blighty and yes I won a new AMS Cable Car for AU$87 posted from au....
the Tram is the one with rusty springs on the pole but at that price as as I'm gunna repaint it and put my own pole on it (might even try the leadlight glass on the end quarter lights) I think by Australian standards I got a sensible bargain, new here they are around the $170 - $200 mark. The Cable car is a steal at that price wow Im stunned. It will be converted into a Sydney cable car that ran on the King St to Edgecliff route. So the longitudinal seating will have to be replaced and signage will have to go. This route was also unique in as much as the power for headlights etc was delivered from an overhead wire.... This route was set up by an american so had turntables at each end, the northshore cable line used grip cars towing trailers....
Please forgive my little gloat.... I'm broke now!!!!

Yes mine has had the pickup problem sorted but (and I may be wrong) I think the body is too far from the ground, its a hell of a G scale step up to the running board.... definatley needs a grip person.... anyway no one rides in the saloon, everyone hangs off the handrails and stands on the running board. Well except my son who was chatting to the grip and in typical American style an armed robbery was going on and the gripman got shot in the ensuing cross fire, he got an award from the mayor and a medal for stopping the car... yep a nice car... no interior lighting though I'll sort that I'll let you know how to dismantle it... Mine came with a little plastic bag with an assortment of screws in it, what are they for???

Yes, I am always surprised that they did not try and lower the car at all...

Its not a really big job to do so I shall try to at least drop the running boards a few mm they are way to close to the body
