Narrow Gauge Railways
Having posted some photo's of the Westwood & Loscoe Light Railway in its previous guise, I thought I'd start a thread to record progress on the re-built version.
It seems appropriate to launch the thread now, since the rails were joined to complete the new "figure of eight" TODAY

Brinsley Lodge already looks established, even though I only "planted" the buildings etc this morning!

and here's the bridge at Codnor Reservoir that made it possible to re-open the line!
Looking very "raw" at the mo' with plenty of work still to do on the bridge and the new water feature:nerd:

I love that engine shed composition/layout particularly the short siding beside the shed looks just right to me. Any chance you could re-plant mine tomorrow morning? Another thread to follow - thanks.

tiss very nice now.. nevermind when its done:thumbup:

Great - love the stone work.

Not a lot of progress since the last post, due to work, chores and "playing trains"
However, it now looks like Brinsley Lodge is ready to be re-opened as the lines running shed!

Now that is a well modelled interior.

I was completely flommpxed as to whether it was real or not!

I just thought that you might like to see an ex - Camberwick Green loco in its new home........

Frustratingly, the Civil Engineer has deemed the weather too cold to lay the cement based "Rowlands Mix" ballast on the final new section of the line, so all seems unusually quiet around the W&LLR......
