Yep was a good afternoon even if the turnout was a bit low but the cool afternoon didn't stop the keen ones.

Circulating, all afternoon on the top loop was a trusty old Stainz - where would we be without the LGB Stainz!

The water feature is powered by an old spa pool pump, so there was plenty of flow in the mountain stream. I think the bottom pond was almost big enough to run as a spa anyway - that would be fun:laugh:

A carpenter was at work building a new hut, though only a bit of light cleaning up, no hard work being a Sunday you see.

Nice little scene passing above crib wall at the junction with the slip road to/from the main loop.

The front slip road between the upper and main circuits. There is another around the back allowing a reverse loop to be formed in either direction of travel

Working on the main circuit, the Shorty is about to enter a tunnel gauntlet leading to the new extension.

Thanks to David & Wendy for another good session and yummy cake, we'll be back

Excellent - I blame the derailment on the layout of the track at this point. A double reverse curve of that radii is always a dodgy proposition........
