Shawn

Hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing
After havine a nice long weekend it was back to work for the KMRR. During the guys three days off one of the days brought 3-4 inches of rain and some thunderstorms throughout the day. The guys had to get the railcar out for some track inspections.

Loading up at the station.

Re:Summer Pictures on the MRR

As always Shawn, it is a real delight to view your line. Love the row of dwellings.

Fantastic pic's Shawn

Your moss and ground covers are doing well!:)

Unfortunately, my moss and weeds are doing just as well..:(

Excellent stuff Shawn, I enjoyed those immensely !

I just love your logging camp. Your photos look real and the little details are great. Thanks for sharing

I was not happy with my last set of pictures. Camera flash keeps going on even when it is light out. When I turn flash off pictures are blurred. I stole my wifes nice camera and played with that some. SHHHHH dont tell her.
Sorry for so many pictures can never decide what to post.
The Big John was the choice of power for the day with some log cars being pulled.

great pictures again this morning, cant have to many.

The guys on the Kittatinny Mt RR got their passenger cars in service today. Now the loggers have a way to get their friends and family into the woods for the weekends and open up to the tourist that visit the state forest. Two of the cars were donted and the other was bought. The cars were repainted to blend in with the forest.
The camera man just made it in time before some heavy rain came through.

Here is a few from todays running. Was outside most of the day running trains. Couldnt ask for a better day especially with all the rain latley.

Started out with some passenger service. Since it was the weekend the boys had off and the families came out to visit.
(The guys put in a new wall to help keep the balast from washing out)

Very nice Shawn, looks like you had a god day. The railroad is looking superb.

I was going to do ballasting today, thinking it was cooler. It was still in the 90s with high humidity, so it didn't get done.

I like the retaining wall for the ballast. I may follow your lead there.
